1. I accessed the URL of the ftp by clicking the link in the notice email, but the FITS files are symbolic links and I can't download the FITS files using the GUI interface of MAC OS Finder and Windows Explorer.

Please use an FTP client app or the ftp command in the terminal window. MAC Finder and Windows Explorer don't follow the symbolic links.

2. I don't receive the confirmation email of the data request.

It may be found in the spam folder. MS365, for example, treats the email from SMOKA as SPAM.
